J2S develops and publishes a modular publication management system to capture data and lay them out on various media.
This solution is suitable for creating all types of documents containing variable data : sales material, catalogues, product sheets, etc.

Data acquisition

Starting with the study of your data, we offer our expertise in content management to structure and ensure the reusability of your data acrross the different publications (editions, catalogues, etc.).

According to users' needs, data input can be processed online via a custom-made interface or off-line, using Adobe LiveCycle Server technologies.

Flat planning

A flat planning system is provided with the production follow-up module. It is used to define the sequence of automatically generated pages and manually added pages (e.g. adds, announcements, etc.).

You may follow the status of the publication pages and if needed trigger actions for users in charge of given pages.

When the document is ready, all items are added to a book before generatig the PDF file.

Automatic page layout

Depending on acceptable constaints at the data acquisition stage and the level of creativity required from one page to another, you may choose to simply place the items on the page or go so far as to fully automate the page layout.

In one and the other options, you will boost your productivity and ensure your data integrity. With the option of InDesign Server, users can see the work in progress at any time.

In the collaborative way of working, the proof-reading step is greatly optimised as you can get to the "ready to print" status far more quickly.
